Situated in Port Vila, 1.8 km from Breakas Beach, South Pacific Memories features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. With a garden, the 4-star resort has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. A terrace, an in-house bar and shared lounge are available.

Anne & Petter have created the most beautiful and special place for a romantic holiday. The rooms and common areas are delightfully architectural and spotlessly clean, the food is sublime and the staff are very friendly. We lazed in the sun, cooled off in the pool and loved every minute of our 3-day stay.

Boasting beachfront villas with stunning ocean views, Eratap Beach Resort offers free WiFi, free cooked gourmet breakfast and free use of water sports equipment, including kayaks and both snorkeling and surfing equipment. There is a day spa, restaurant, lounge bar and an outdoor pool. Also available at the resort is a fully-equipped fitness centre, tennis court and shop.

The entire staff was fantastic. Most of them live in the nearby Eratap village and take great pride in their work. Pascal, the manager, was fantastic. When Vanuatu Airlines never put our luggage on the plane ( along with 41 other pieces) she was quick to followup with the airline and arrange for a ride to the airport to pick up our Luggage. If you are flying to Vanuatu- Fly any airline but Air Vanuatu. We had boarding passes to Fiji for our return flight. When we got to the airport, we found out the flight was cancelled with no notice. They put us up at a local hotel for the night, ( after 3 hours of dealing with their service desk)squeezed us on the next day flight - I’m sure someone else got bumped off, and never paid for the extra 2 nights we had to pay for because we had missed our connecting flight that only goes 3X per week.

Located on Mele Bay, Paradise Cove Resort features a private beach providing easy access to some of Port Vila's best snorkelling and diving sites. Free Kayaks, snorkelling equipment, stand-up paddle boards and bicycles are provided. There is a salt-water swimming pool, spa and both free WiFi in public areas and continental breakfast are included.

We had the MOST incredible experience at Paradise Cove. From the moment we arrived, greeted by owner Constance and shuffled quickly to happy hour, we knew it was going to be amazing. Staff amazing. Food exceptional, like the best I have ever had on a tropical island. Vilas were comfortable and cleaned promptly every day. Water sports gear all clean and available. Awesome cocktails. Did I mention the food? OMG, honestly, I had the Melanesian Fish Salad every single day for lunch. Tried everything else at dinner time. Breakfast was fresh, fabulous and made to order. Massie and Edna were our favourite hosts - they looked after us so well, incredibly kind, amazing service. They treated our 14-year-old daughter like part of the family. I will go back to this incredible piece of paradise again and again. It will become a tradition as it was so special and exceeded our expectations and then some. Constance and Marc who manage and own the resort, are visible every day, friendly and so welcoming - we felt part of the family from the moment we arrived. We had Christmas day there and shared with guests we’d never met before and it was incredible. The food, the beverages, and the conversation. We feel so lucky to have stumbled across this amazing place and we will return. Thank you so much to the team at Paradise Cove...you have created something very special. Kathryn, Jeremy, Leila and Maysie.

Great menu for all three meals and another option of a boutique pizza restaurant 50metres down the beach. The gardens and path you walk through to your villa is beautifully maintained and every day fresh flowers are placed in bathrooms, tables and on the various sculptures around the gardens. Location—closer to the main road, supermarket, local market, bus stop, and USP Graduation venue, which is why we travelled to Vanuatu in the first place. There were not a lot of guests at the resort, and we thoroughly enjoyed the facilities ourselves with the help and smiles of the staff.

Hosts Chris and Flavia were great. Nothing was too much trouble. The apartments are located in an area where there are a number of other resorts and at times you could hear music coming from the other places, but otherwise lovely and quiet. It was walking distance to a few restaurants and buses into town were easily accessible from the end of the driveway. The kitchen was well equipped with enough to self-cater if you want.

I had the most wonderful, warm stay at Coco Beach Resort. The best thing about the resort was the staff - Vanessa, Gina, Alice and Hiram made me feel like I was at my home away from home. I would go back in a heartbeat for them alone! I was there slightly off season and the entire stretch of beach was peaceful. I loved the fact that you could just walk straight into the ocean and snorkel or just float for hours, which I did much of the time!

From the start, this is obviously not a resort, nor a luxury stay. But if you’re looking for the best place in Port Vila to have a relaxed, budget friendly “home base”, this is it. And Beth was simply amazing, answering my too many questions instantly and saving my trip by taking me to the airport on my departure day when the transfer car didn’t show up.

Overall the stay was pleasant, the staff is nice. Bungalows are fairly basic, but ok if you do not expect high-end luxury of a 5 stars resort; I really liked the outdoor bathroom/showers. Vanuatu was recently hit by cyclones, businesses are making their best to recover.

every aspect was just great - snorkelling, excursions (Blue Cave, Yakel custom village, giant banyan tree), staff, food, grounds, view, rooms - really top resort. we’d stayed at the ‘Volcanic Hideway Tree House’ at Mt Yasur to see the volcano and the luxury of the resort was a perfect complement to the tree house in a traditional Vanuatu village in sight of the volcano. recommend the combination.
