All the tourist attractions were great, especially the Anne Frank walk and the cheese & wine cruise! The best tip I can give is to be very careful about which accommodation you stay in. We stayed in Hotel la Belle Vue, it was not as advertised through Booking.com, it was filthy and our experience there ruined what should have been a great family celebration. Very poor response from Booking.com regarding our complaint.

Amsterdam is a great city, so much to do, and places to see. I was very impressed with the quality and variety of food. Weather was great so that also made a difference. The only thing that I didn't like were the bikes. More dangerous than cars!

Lots to see and do - museums, architecture, history, lovely neighborhoods, and many, many restaurants. We were there for 5 days -- it was the perfect end to our 3-week vacation. The advance assistance by WhatsApp was also very useful. There's a very good breakfast buffet. The hotel is located a little way from the city centre, but is quieter as a result. Also, there are good bus connections right outside the hotel and the walk into town through Westerpark is very nice - there are also plenty of cafes and places to eat around there.
